Aono-Dam is a small
lake situated in a parkland-style area between Sanda and Sasayama, popular
among anglers and for picknicks/barbecues. |

| It's only 1 hour by car (and almost accessible by train) from central Kobe, which makes the lake a top folding kayak destination for spending a leisurly day. The Northern part is fenced off and reserved for nature only, but the relatively long East-West strech allows for quite some practice. Water quality: Visibility is very low, but the water usually deemed us good enough for a swim on a hot day. | |
