Looking back to it, especially to the last part of the trip, one is tempted to call it "Veni, vici, fugitive".

On a sunny day we "set sail" for our island ...
On the ferry to Maejima - 'fate', as in 'fatal'.
  

 

 

 

 

 

It was a tough fight & our toll was high, blood was spilled throughout the night.
  After the bite is always before the bite.
 

 

 

 

... but we conquered ...
 
Wet return of the heroes
... and returned home as heroes !
